Duties & Responsibilities
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in software development (this doesn’t have to be commercial, we understand that this experience may be gained in your own time, at school or college)
- Knowledge of basic programming languages (Python, Java, C++)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Highly developed attention to detail
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Writing and debugging code

What we offer
The role is based on 40 hours a week, including study time to complete the mandatory 20% Off the Job Training study time within those hours to complete the Digital and Technology Solutions Professional Degree Apprenticeship Software Engineering.
This is a fixed term position from the commencement of the apprenticeship until completion of the apprenticeship qualification which is expected to be in the region of 36 months in total.

Who we’d like
As Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for supporting our Production team in all aspects of the production process: design, build, ordering, stock, distribution of our product.

- Knowledge of process improvement, budgeting and production standards
- At least 5 years of experience as a production supervisor
- Exceptional organisational and time management skills
- Experience with production planning, controls and instrumentation
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Highly developed attention to detail
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Maintain workflow on a daily basis by setting up process variables and observing control points
- Complete production plans by scheduling personnel, establishing priorities and reporting the results
of process flow to upper management - Call for repairs if the operation of equipment becomes faulty or unreliable
- Establish and enforce organisational standards for safety and production processes
- Writing process documentation
- Troubleshooting hardware issues
- Working closely with developers to improve product’s functionality
